Santa Barbara Veterinary Integrative Services provides specialized, supplemental care and is not a replacement for a primary veterinary clinic. We work collaboratively with your regular veterinarian or specialist to support pets with chronic, recurrent, or complex conditions through integrative therapies such as acupuncture and in-home care.

Because appointment availability is limited and many established patients require ongoing visits, new-patient openings are often 4–6 weeks out, except for quality-of-life assessments or hospice care, which we prioritize when possible.

Visits are longer than a standard vet visit, individualized, typically require the primary human caregiver to be present and available, and often last 1–2 hours, with costs generally ranging from $200–$400 depending on services and time needed.

Scheduling is flexible rather than time-blocked, and response times may vary due to patient care demands.
